Junk Filter

Junk Filter helps shoppers identify suspicious, unfamiliar and potentially low-quality marketplace brands. It can label, dim or hide results according to your settings and supports Amazon, Bol, Walmart, eBay, OTTO, Kaufland and Etsy.

Most brand detection runs locally in your browser using a bundled dataset. Etsy uses a separate handmade-plausibility check and never treats a shop name as a product brand. Warnings are prompts to inspect a listing, not proof that a product or seller is illegitimate.

Optional online features can refresh public filter data, compare product prices, submit reports and enable service-controlled actions. In Firefox, local marketplace filtering remains available when optional technical-data consent is declined.
