Play up to four videos simultaneously on one screen. Use it for comparing workout forms, analyzing dance moves, and checking your golf swing.
Simple Multiplayer is an app that displays multiple videos side-by-side on one screen and plays them simultaneously. It supports up to four videos.
Want to compare your form to a demonstration video, or check the same movements from different angles? Switching between videos one by one is time-consuming. By displaying them side-by-side and playing them simultaneously, you eliminate that back-and-forth.
■ 1-4 Split Display
You can switch between 1-split (fullscreen) and 4-split displays. The layout automatically adjusts regardless of whether you're holding your device vertically or horizontally. Videos are selected from files on your device using the standard Android picker.
Once selected, videos remain even after restarting. You don't need to select them again every time you reopen the app.
■ Synchronized Playback
Turning on the sync icon at the top will simultaneously reflect playback, pause, and seek actions from one video to all other videos. This mode is useful for viewing from two different angles, or when you want your form and the demonstration video to move at exactly the same timing.
By turning on "Synchronize Playback Speed" in the settings, all videos will play at the same speed, even when slowed down to 0.25x.
■ Solo Audio
Since playing all four simultaneously would result in overlapping sounds, we've provided a "Solo Audio" mode that plays only one sound at a time. Switching to Solo Audio mode on a cell where you want sound to play will only activate that cell, muting the others.
■ A/B Loop
By specifying the start (A) and end (B) points of a range using buttons, that section will play repeatedly. This is useful for repeatedly reviewing difficult sections of dance or instrumental music.
A and B can be toggled independently. To change only the position of B, deactivate B, advance the playback position, and then re-enter the setting.
■ Gesture Control
Moving your finger up and down on a cell changes the volume, and moving it left and right changes the playback position. Even if the seek bar is small and difficult to press, you can control it from anywhere on the screen. If you are concerned about accidental activation, you can turn each function off in the settings.
■ Layout Presets
You can name and save your current configuration (video combination, number of divisions, and settings). Loading will restore everything at once. Organizing your videos into categories like sports, instrument practice, and family videos eliminates the need to re-select files each time.
■ Swapping Videos
Press and hold a cell (approximately 0.4 seconds) to make it pop up, then drag it to another cell. Releasing your finger will swap the two videos, and playback will not stop.
■ Screen Lock
Tapping the lock icon at the top activates lock mode, disabling all taps, drags, and volume buttons. This prevents accidental operation during playback. To unlock, press and hold anywhere on the screen for approximately 1.5 seconds. Short taps or slides will not unlock it, preventing accidental activation in your pocket.
■ Display Modes
You can switch between "Fit," "Zoom," and "Fill" for each cell. If the aspect ratio of the video and screen don't match and black bars appear, select "Zoom."
■ Main Uses
• Comparing sports form (side-by-side comparison with a model)
• Multi-angle analysis of dance (front, side, and back simultaneously)
• Comparing golf swing records over time
• Simultaneously viewing various scenes of your adorable pet
■ Operating Environment
Compatible with Android 8.0 and above devices. Supports video files in formats playable by Android's standard software, such as MP4, H.264, and HEVC.
Playing four videos simultaneously in high resolution will be limited by the device's performance and memory. If stuttering is a concern, re-encoding the videos to around 720p will improve stability.
■ Privacy Considerations
Video files, operation details, and usage history are not sent to external servers. All processing is completed within the device.
Access to files is limited to those explicitly selected by the user on the standard Android file selection screen; permission to access the entire storage is not requested.

■ About Billing
You can try it for free for the first 24 hours. If you wish to continue using it after that, you can purchase it for ¥250 (one-time purchase) from the settings screen. Since it is not a subscription, no additional charges will be incurred.
If you are logged in with the same Google account, your purchases will be carried over even after changing devices or reinstalling the app. You can also manually restore your purchases from "Restore Purchases" in the settings screen.
