Solitaire arrangements. The 8-cut in Daifugo (a Japanese card game). The "match and discard" mechanic in Old Maid. Connecting pieces in Sevens. This app lets you learn traditional card games by doing, not by reading instructions.

■ Hints are ON from the start
The app tells you what to do with words, such as "Play a card stronger than a 6." It doesn't tell you which card to play, because finding it yourself is good practice. You can turn it OFF once you've learned.

■ Slow Progression
Your opponent plays "Thinking..." before moving. You can see what happened before proceeding.

■ Play Alone or with Others
You can play card games one-on-one with Kuinaka Numaemon, or with up to three people.

■ Hiragana-centric screen
Difficult kanji are not used, and the characters are large. Children can progress independently without asking adults.
