Murder Clown

■ Synopsis ■
You still remember the first time you heard about the murders. The victims—each found with their faces painted—were killed in disturbingly precise and unusual ways. Before long, the incidents become the talk of the entire town. Around that same time, a mysterious and beautiful girl named Kanon transfers into your school. She appears indifferent to everything—until the day you become the key witness to a crime… a crime in which the victim was last seen with a clown.

The following day, you end up saving Kanon from a killer clown. From that moment on, you, your childhood friend Yuka, and Kanon join forces to track down the serial killer and put an end to the murders—before another victim appears.

Kanon
Quiet and highly intelligent, Kanon approaches situations with logic, yet she is willing to experiment if it leads to better outcomes. Despite her calm exterior, she is notably stubborn, and once she reaches a conclusion, it is difficult to change her mind.
Beneath her stoic demeanor lies a sharp sense of pride and a dry, sarcastic wit. She occasionally makes unexpected remarks or jokes, either to ease tension or to tease those around her. There seems to be a deeper reason behind her arrival in this town—and her strong interest in the killer clown.

Yuka
Your childhood friend and a skilled martial artist. She frequently lets herself into your house, bringing food or simply spending time with you.
At school, she presents herself as a composed honor student, complete with glasses and a polished attitude. Around you, however, she drops that persona, revealing a more relaxed, affectionate, and slightly lazy side. Whether the two of you can work together to stop the killer remains to be seen.

Murder Clown
A mysterious serial killer whose origins remain unknown. Incorporating clown imagery, props, and twisted humor into each crime, the Murder Clown appears to target those who are isolated and emotionally vulnerable—claiming to grant them a smile that lasts forever.
