User Reviews
Reviewers praise the engaging deck-building combat and art, plus the card-creation feature. Major recurring criticisms center on AI-generated art/content and monetization perceived as pay-to-win or gacha-driven, along with concerns about card balance and the absence of a clear long-term goal.
Pros
- Fun, accessible deck-building roguelike with replayability.
- Engaging battle system with strategic depth and clear design.
- Stylish art and thematic vibe (Persona/Shin Megami Tensei-inspired) with strong visuals.
- Innovative card-creation feature that adds depth and customization.
Cons
- AI-generated art/content widely criticized, leading to a perceived lack of soul and cohesion.
- Monetization concerns: perceived pay-to-win and gacha-like core mechanics.
- Card balance/quality issues tied to AI-generated cards; some cards feel weak or repetitive.
- Some players feel the game lacks a clear long-term point or endgame.
Recent reviews
Game is being shutdown sadly. You can still contribute to AI generated cards if you like. Overall game was cool except for a really terrible game mechanic called Heavy armor. No one in their right mind likes this, just take it out completely. It's an extremely terrible ability on enemies that just draws out the fight longer than it should. Even the best of decks come to a wall when faced with it. Stupidest mechanic ever and a way to take the fun out of the game and lose tempo.
