ActRide App

This app is compatible with vehicles equipped with Kayaba Corporation's "ActRide" electronically controlled suspension system.

"ActRide" combines comfort and handling stability, enhancing the value of travel for a wide range of uses, from everyday commutes to long-distance drives. A controller with built-in sensors detects vehicle behavior and controls damping force with solenoid-adjustable shock absorbers. This app allows you to customize your ride and comfort, allowing you to choose your ride feel just like choosing music.

◆HOW TO: Basic Operation
1. Start the engine and launch the app. "Select" your driving style based on the day's driving conditions and your mood.
After starting the engine and launching the app, on the Tuning Screen, select the default settings "Comfort," "Normal," or "Sport" based on the day's driving conditions and your mood, or your own pre-saved settings. Tap "Send" at the bottom of the screen to send the damping force information to the controller.

2. For more detailed adjustments, easily use the Custom screen with one hand.
By individually setting parameters on the Custom screen, you can customize your preferred ride comfort and handling stability. If you want to drive with fixed damping commands, turn Auto Mode "Off" and you can adjust the base damping for both the front and rear wheels in 100 steps (0 being the softest, 100 being the firmest).

When Auto Mode is "On," the controller's built-in sensors precisely capture the vehicle's movement and control the damping commands in real time.

In addition to adjusting base damping, you can enjoy custom settings by moving the bars for the three parameters Ride, Handling, and Speed ​​Adpt. left and right.

3. Visualize your driving and control. Check your vehicle's behavior in real time with the "Monitor Function."

The 6-axis IMU sensor (front/back, left/right, and up/down + pitch/roll/yaw) visualizes vehicle changes in real time. The G-ball and gyrometer react to steering inputs and acceleration/deceleration, allowing you to customize vehicle behavior. Vehicle speed is also displayed on the monitor in conjunction with your smartphone's location information.
