■What is Safety Rec?
Developed by Data-Tec Co., Ltd., the creator of the "world's first" dashcam.

It is an application that replicates the commercial dashcam "Safety Recorder®" using the camera, accelerometer, and GPS functions built into smartphones.

■Main Features
1. Dashcam Function
- Detects strong actions (sudden braking, sudden steering, etc.) and automatically records several seconds of video before and after the event.
- Allows review of detailed driving conditions after the drive is completed.
- Can be used as evidence in case of accidents or dangerous situations.

2. Driving Diagnostic System
- Evaluates five items: "Smoothness," "Braking," "Stopping," "Turning," and "Steering."
- Scores safe driving performance with a maximum of 20 points for each item, for a total of 100 points.
- Supports driving skill improvement through driving advice.

3. Detailed Drive Log Function
- Capture vivid memories of your trip with photos automatically recorded every minute.
- Visualize your driving route with a driving map utilizing GPS data.
- Analyze driving trends by graphing data such as speed and acceleration.

■Limitations
(1) If you receive a phone call or email during an event, the data will not be recorded correctly.
(2) There may be a delay of several seconds between the video and the time of the event.
(3) Dangerous actions may be recorded even when you are not performing any dangerous actions.

(4) You can acquire data continuously for up to 5 hours. After 5 hours, data acquisition will automatically stop.
(5) After tapping "Start Driving," recording will automatically begin once location information is acquired.
(6) If you start driving before acquiring location information, recording will start from the location where the location information was acquired.
■ Precautions
(1) Please securely fix your smartphone in a place that does not interfere with driving. If you want to record video, point the camera in the direction you want to shoot.
(2) Operating your smartphone while driving is extremely dangerous, so please refrain from doing so.
(3) Installing the cradle on the windshield is prohibited by law.
(4) This app fully utilizes the functions of your smartphone, so it will consume a significant amount of battery power. Please use it while supplying power.
(5) Accidents and damages resulting from the use of this app. We assume no responsibility whatsoever for the following.
(6) Accident footage is not guaranteed to be recorded.
(7) If the system automatically shuts off due to high temperatures, data may not be saved correctly.
(8) If measurement is interrupted and you wish to resume it, please fix your smartphone in the same orientation as before the interruption.
(9) Do not operate (including looking at) your mobile phone while driving, as this is extremely dangerous.

If you need to operate your phone, please have a passenger use it or stop the vehicle in a safe location.
