WebAccess A gives you simple, secure remote access to your Buffalo NAS from your Android device. Stream terabytes of images, video, and audio on demand, download files for offline use, upload to free mobile storage, and share content with friends and family — all without a computer. Use the app to set up WebAccess and open the NAS Settings interface directly on your device.

Supported models include LinkStation (LS200/LS500/LS700 series), TeraStation (TS3010, TS3020, TS3030, TS5010, TS5020, TS6000, TS7010 series), and select AirStation routers (WXR-6000AX12, WTR-M2133HS, WXR-5950AX12). Note that some NAS icons may not appear in-app and thumbnails/backups are unavailable for registered AirStation devices.

Many reviews praise NAS access and bulk backup capability, and note reliability when working. A large portion report post-update instability: being unable to connect or login, SSL/connection errors, backups not running automatically, and a confusing UI with lost navigation. Device discovery problems also appear. Overall sentiment is negative due to post-update instability, despite some perceived performance gains when it works.

Recent reviews

BEWARE! If the Buffalo company in your area stops trading (as has happened in the UK) then you'll lose access to your stored data from your mobile device! No more device backups! It shouldn't need Melco servers to be involved in communications with these NAS devices. Melco (or some other Buffalo entity) needs to update their device firmware to remove this impediment IMMEDIATELY! Until then, BUFFALO NAS NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
