MedAlarm: Pill & Med Reminder

MedAlarm is a simple pill reminder and medication tracker for every medicine, vitamin and supplement you take. It reminds you when each dose is due, and lets you record it with one tap — right from the notification, without opening the app.

No account and no sign-up. Your medication list and dose history stay on your phone.


■ A reminder you answer in one tap

When a dose is due, MedAlarm sends a notification with three buttons: Taken, Skip and Later. Tap Taken and the dose is logged. Busy right now? Tap Later to snooze it. If a reminder goes unanswered, MedAlarm can remind you again automatically. You choose the snooze and follow-up times.

Once a dose is logged, you won't be reminded about it again that day — so taking a pill early never leads to a confusing alert later.


■ Today's doses on your home screen

Add the home screen widget to see what is left for today at a glance, and mark a dose as taken straight from the widget. If you would rather others didn't see what you take, the widget can hide medication names.


■ Any schedule your prescription needs

• Every day, at one or more times
• Chosen days of the week
• Once a month, on a set date
• Cycles: take for a number of days, pause, and repeat

Cycles cover regimens with planned breaks, such as a birth control pill taken 21 days on and 7 days off. Set a start and end date and the reminders stop when the course does. Not taking something for now? Pause it instead of deleting it, and its history stays.


■ Your medication history

The medication calendar shows, day by day, which doses were taken, skipped or missed. Each medication can carry a photo and a note — useful for telling similar tablets apart, or for keeping "1 tablet after food" where you will see it.


■ A PDF for your doctor (Premium)

Export your dose history for any period as a PDF, then email it, save it or print it from the share menu. It is made for showing a doctor or pharmacist at an appointment.


■ Premium subscription

Monthly and yearly plans are available. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.

Reminders, dose logging, the widget and the calendar are free, with no limits. Premium is not needed for any of them.


■ Privacy

Medication names, notes, photos and dose history are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. Anonymous usage and crash data help us fix problems, and you can turn that off in Settings at any time.


■ If reminders don't arrive

Some phones delay or drop notifications to save battery. MedAlarm's Settings include a shortcut for excluding the app from battery optimisation, so reminders arrive on time.
