Paint the blank map and conquer Japan. Color the Map is a territory-style map game where you fill the map with ~1km tiles.

Towns you've visited, the area where you live, places you travel to — trace the map to paint them and grow your own personal "painted map." Coverage percentage is tallied automatically for every municipality, so you can see at a glance how much of Tokyo you've painted, or whether your hometown is already at 100%.

■ Three ways to paint
- Visit paint: paint the tile where you are right now using GPS. The towns you actually walk through get recorded as you go.
- Neighbor paint: paint tiles next to ones you've already filled, expanding your area fast.
- Drag paint: drag across the map with your finger to fill many tiles at once.

■ Equal-area ~1km tiles
City and countryside are painted with the same size tiles, so the game is fair no matter where you live. Japan is covered by one uniform grid, and every tile you fill stays on your map as proof of progress.

■ Compete on rankings
Compete by area painted (tile count) on national, prefecture, and country rankings. Paint steadily and climb to the top.

■ Points and levels
Painting costs points, which recover naturally over time. The more you paint, the more experience you earn, leveling up and raising your maximum points. Visiting and painting your real location with GPS is always free.

■ Play instantly, no sign-up required
Start painting right away as a guest, with no account. Sign up later and your guest map carries over, so you can keep painting from another device.
