That search setting is just a redirect to google/bing, etc. For my company, in order to keep adding on features to the extension, I need a way to fund those efforts. We partnered with a company that just takes the traffic from our extension and uses it to point people towards a specific search engine. Right now it's just directing towards google. What most people use anyways. It's totally optional and you can change it back once you re download the extension. I just get some money back in order to put back into developing the extension even more! Thank you - Sal
