'Word of the Day Tab' is a Chrome extension designed to boost your vocabulary. It features a new word and its definition, popping up on a daily basis whenever a new tab is opened. This extension also provides a rotating photo background for aesthetic appeal and a web search tool powered by Yahoo. Note that it will only influence the search bar on your new tab and not affect the default search engine of your browser. It extracts data from wordnik.com for the daily words and from unsplash.com for the photo backgrounds.
