'Canvas Dashboard Grades' is a simple yet effective Chrome extension that enhances your usage of Canvas LMS by adding the function to view your current grades directly on the dashboard. Developed independently, this tool enhances the Canvas experience, replicating the 'show grades' option from the mobile app that the website lacks. It never shares your grade data outside your computer, using the official Canvas API to overlay the grades on your dashboard, viewable in the card view mode.

This extension aims to replicate the "show grades" toggle option in the mobile app that for some reason doesn't exist on the website. This is NOT an official extension, just a random guy working on a fun and simple coding project in his spare time. Your grades are never sent to me as everything is handled on your computer. It uses the official Canvas API to grab your grades and overlays them on the dashboard's card view, so you'll want to make sure you set your dashboard view to "Card View" by clicking on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner and selecting the card view option.

See I liked the extension. I'm not sure why, but it suddenly stopped working. I tried deleting it and redownloading but it didnt work

Great extension! I have wanted this for such a long time and you helped make it happen. I really dont know why its not something that's built into the web UI as is.
