This has saved me a tremendous amount of time over the years. There was a small glitch recently but I just had to left click the pinned extension icon and select the "Apply saved options to search?" checkbox and it's back to 100% functionality. Worth mentioning that this checkbox is in a separate popup (as I said: left click), not under the usual extension options view.
