Jira Issue Prevview adds useful tools to your JIRA experience, e.g. displaying a preview of an issue when hovering over an issue link.

Features & Capabilities

In the current version, the extension displays a preview of any JIRA issue when hovering an issue link.

The preview consists of

  • assigned sprint (the current active sprint is highlighted in green)
  • components
  • linked issues (blocked by, child of, ...)
  • sub-tasks
  • clickable links for all sub-tasks & linked issues (opens the issue in a new tab)
Keyboard Shortcuts Holding the "Shift" key, ensures the preview stays open when moving the mouse.

Pre-requisite Your JIRA instance needs to be hosted and served under a domain which matches: ://.atlassian.net/*
