Excellent extension until the sun goes down. After my computer goes into dark mode, opening a new tab blinds me with a bright white light as though my life is coming to an end. Would really like to see a dark mode added to this extension.

Works great! I wish there was a dark mode option. Blinded by a new tab is unpleasant.

I just started using it, but I like what it does: it becomes a default new tab (if you allow it upon install), so you open a new tab and instantly start writing. It has a clean interface and an unobtrusive Clear text button in upper right corner. I wrote some gibberish, closed the tab then reopened it, and gibberish was there. I'll only post an update to this if I start losing text upon browser/computer restart, etc.
