Features & Capabilities

Jelly Party turns compatible online videos into synchronized watch parties. Start a party beside any video, share one private invite link, and watch together while play, pause, seeking, and video changes stay synchronized across every participant’s screen. Late joiners start at the current moment, while a clearly marked leader controls the video and can transfer leadership.

Chat and the participant list appear in Firefox’s native sidebar, keeping the video page uncluttered. Jelly Party requires no accounts, profiles, or room codes, and works with popular streaming services and other pages containing HTML5 video. It is free and open source, with access to video sites requested only when needed to find and control their video. Anyone with the unguessable party link can join, so share it privately with invited friends.
