| 2024-11-29 |  | | en | Interesting. I've been using prompt folder. I'll be stoked to note the differences. Love a decent competitor. Before, I had just pinned them to my clipboard. Having a place to store prompts as well as additional features, is a game changer. So off the bat, I have an issue. When I go to Trending > GPT Characters and try to click on a prompt so I can see the whole prompt, it's unresponsive. They aren't really much use, shared publicly if they can't be seen or used. Prompt Folder also has a prompt optimizing feature and a copy prompt + trigger to ChatGPTs website, where with a / you can also access your prompts. Concept, cool though. |

The app originally showed promise, but like many other AppSumo users who purchased it before October of 2024, my account was abruptly downgraded to the free version with no warning and no proactive communication to explain the issue after it occurred. I can no longer use the app and have lost all my saved text and prompts since they are not stored in the free version. This raises questions about the app's stability and reliability. I also have been experiencing issues where I am directed to the PromptBox site for no reason when launching my browser. This occurs at least once a week even after I reported the problem 5 months ago and was told it was a known issue and would be fixed! Like many others, I have reached out to the creator a handful of times and each time he falsely states that my account is fixed when it is not. He has not provided a timeline for a resolution and also has not provided any apology for downgrading my account to the free version. I basically wasted money on this extension and have no way to get it back! Overall, these issues do not instill much confidence in the app. Also, the reviews on AppSumo are not looking good at this point as people are realizing they were duped. Stay away! |
