Features & Capabilities

Calculates "Near Focus Limit", "Far Focus Limit", "Hyperfocal Distance" and "Depth of Field" based on selected camera, aperture, focal length and focus distance.

Wheels are used for selecting aperture, focal length, focus distance and unit of focus distance which makes testing of different settings very fast and simple.

The unit of the calculated results as well as the focus distance can individually can be selected to be m, cm, feet or inch and all last used settings are saved.

Very easy to use
No ads and no permissions needed
Flexible with respect to its ability to mix and match distance units
Works as intended for depth of field calculations
Simple and useful interface

Cons

Limited set of cameras available
Lacks many specific camera models, especially Sony
Cannot input lens focal length directly
Coarseness of distance adjustment dials can be improved
Confusing for users who do not understand sensor size implications

Very easy to use. There appear to be reviewers who don't realise that the same sensor size appears in many cameras, you don't need a list of every camera ever made. Someone even said they couldn't find focal length. Oh good grief...
