JD Link Sender

A Chrome/Brave/Firefox (Manifest V3) extension that sends links and encrypted containers to JDownloader 2 through its ClickNLoad2 (CNL2) HTTP interface. It's a minimal replacement for MyJDownloader: no cloud account, no third-party service — the extension talks directly to your JDownloader instance's /flash/* endpoint (local network or exposed via a tunnel).

FEATURES

• A single context menu entry ("Send to JDownloader"), available in three contexts:
• right-click on a link
• right-click on a text selection containing one or more URLs
• right-click on empty page space (scans the whole page)
• Automatic recognition of two container formats, in priority order:
• Encrypted CNL2 blocks (crypted + jk + optional passwords)
• Plain link lists in a <textarea> (e.g. pages like lficrypt.org)
• If no container is found, it simply sends the raw URL.
• Confirmation popup before sending, with per-hoster selection when more than one hoster is detected.
• Package name automatically inferred from the page's meta tag or title.
• Options page to configure JDownloader's base URL (local or remote) and test the connection (/jdcheck.js).

REQUIRED JDOWNLOADER SETUP

Before using this extension, you must enable and authorize the external CNL2 interface in JDownloader, otherwise requests are rejected:

1. Open JDownloader, gear icon top right, then "Advanced Settings".
2. In the search box type: cnl
3. Enable the "RemoteAPI: Extern Interface" checkbox (listens on port 9666).
4. In the "RemoteAPI: Extern Interface Auth" field add the string: jd-local-extension The final value must be: ["jd-local-extension"] Without this authorization JDownloader discards the extension's requests.
5. Leave "RemoteAPI: Extern Interface Localhost Only" unchecked if you want to reach JDownloader from another network/device too (e.g. via a tunnel); check it only if the browser and JDownloader always run on the same computer.

Finally, open the extension's Options page and enter the URL of your JDownloader instance (e.g. http://192.168.1.100:9666 on a local network, or an HTTPS domain if exposed via a tunnel), then press "Test connection".

USAGE

1. Browse to a page with links to download (direct links or behind an encrypted container).
2. Right-click a link, some selected text containing URLs, or an empty area of the page.
3. Select "Send to JDownloader" from the context menu.
4. Confirm in the popup that opens (with optional per-hoster selection) — the links are sent to JDownloader via CNL2.

PRIVACY

Estensione Chrome/Brave/Firefox (Manifest V3) che invia link e container crittografati a JDownloader 2 tramite la sua interfaccia HTTP ClickNLoad2 (CNL2). È un sostituto minimale di MyJDownloader: niente account cloud, niente servizi di terze parti — l'estensione parla direttamente con l'endpoint /flash/* della tua istanza JDownloader (locale o esposta via tunnel).

FUNZIONALITÀ

• Un'unica voce nel menu contestuale ("Invia a JDownloader"), disponibile in tre contesti:
• click destro su un link
• click destro su una selezione di testo contenente uno o più URL
• click destro su spazio vuoto della pagina (scansiona l'intera pagina)
• Riconoscimento automatico di due formati di container, in ordine di priorità:
• Blocchi CNL2 crittografati (crypted + jk + eventuale passwords)
• Liste di link semplici in una <textarea> (es. pagine tipo lficrypt.org)
• Se non trova nessun container, invia semplicemente l'URL grezzo.
• Popup di conferma prima dell'invio, con selezione per singolo hoster quando ne vengono rilevati più di uno.
• Nome del pacchetto dedotto automaticamente dal meta tag della pagina o dal titolo.
• Pagina Opzioni per configurare l'URL base di JDownloader (locale o remoto) e testare la connessione (/jdcheck.js).

CONFIGURAZIONE RICHIESTA IN JDOWNLOADER

Prima di usare l'estensione, in JDownloader devi attivare e autorizzare l'interfaccia CNL2 esterna, altrimenti le richieste vengono rifiutate:

1. Apri JDownloader, icona ingranaggio in alto a destra, poi "Impostazioni avanzate" (Advanced Settings).
2. Nel campo di ricerca digita: cnl
3. Attiva la casella "RemoteAPI: Extern Interface" (resta in ascolto sulla porta 9666).
4. Nel campo "RemoteAPI: Extern Interface Auth" aggiungi la stringa: jd-local-extension Il valore finale deve risultare: ["jd-local-extension"] Senza questa autorizzazione JDownloader scarta le richieste dell'estensione.
5. Lascia deselezionata "RemoteAPI: Extern Interface Localhost Only" se vuoi raggiungere JDownloader anche da un'altra rete/dispositivo (es. tramite tunnel); selezionala solo se browser e JDownloader girano sempre sullo stesso computer.

Infine, apri la pagina Opzioni dell'estensione e inserisci l'URL della tua istanza JDownloader (es. http://192.168.1.100:9666 in rete locale, oppure un dominio HTTPS se esposto tramite tunnel), poi premi "Prova connessione".

UTILIZZO

1. Naviga su una pagina con link da scaricare (diretti o dietro un container crittografato).
2. Click destro su un link, su del testo selezionato contenente URL, oppure su un'area vuota della pagina.
3. Seleziona "Invia a JDownloader" dal menu contestuale.
4. Conferma nel popup che si apre (con eventuale scelta degli hoster) — i link vengono inviati a JDownloader tramite CNL2.

PRIVACY
