What is Brew Convert?

Brew Convert is a Chrome extension that allows you to convert highlighted text between common units for homebrewing in the context menu. It can detect units in selected text and show all conversions for the selected number. The latest version offers improved support for ranges and options to choose between metric and imperial conversions.

Analyze keywords

Converts highlighted text between common units for homebrewing in the context menu. Is able to detect units if selected text includes units, otherwise will show all conversions for the selected number.

Changes in 1.1 * Support ranges. If you have ranges like "10-12kg" you can highlight both numbers to convert the range.

Changes in 0.8 * Allow spaces between degree and Celciu/Fahrenheit in text

Changes in 0.7 * Add options to show all, metric->imperial, or imperial->metric only

UPDATE: I spoke too soon. While the extension instantly converted grams to ounces, it had no clue what a millimeter (mm) is. In the end, fail. Finally! Someone (this extension developer) has done it right! Right click on a unit of measure and see the conversion right there in the context menu. Brilliant. And bewildering how all other similar extensions totally screw up this simple process. But here, perfection. Thanks dev!
