FirstDraftNewsCheck is an innovative Chrome extension that enables the user to verify the originality and credibility of images and videos on the web. It initiates a guided checklist, prompting the user to investigate the origin, creator, time and location of the content. Last but not least, the extension subsequently calculates a verification score and generates a user-friendly button that can be embedded on any website.
