Real Results for Amazon is an extension that reveals the true number of listings associated with a keyword search/phrase, as well as highlights the search results that use the exact search phrase in their title or subtitle OR uses the same words in the phrase but reorders them.

Right now, Amazon's search engine only reveals partial data on the total number of product results when searching a specific keyword phrase. The problem with this is that the searching user gets an inaccurate picture of the saturation/competition level for a targeted keyword when researching on amazon.com.

Real Results for Amazon tells you exactly how many search results show up when searching in "All Depts" (the main amazon search without searching in a specific sub category) and show the total of how many other listings come back using that keyword phrase in all other categories (if you were to sub-category search).

What's interesting is that Amazon limits the number of products that a searcher can see when searching under the main Amazon search category. This is likely what everyone does when they search! Most people don't select subcategories before searching.

This tool helps the seller of any product determine the saturation level of different keywords.

Also, Real Results highlights in green and totals the number of listings on the page that use the exact search phrase entered. It also highlights in yellow and totals the number of listings on the page that use a reordered version of the words in the search phrase. You'll find that some search results have ZERO products that use that exact search phrase.

Finally, all sponsored products are highlighted Red to ensure you differentiate between those and the regular results.
