RaiPlay Sound is the free audio platform from Rai offering live radio streams and on-demand listening to podcasts, hundreds of audiobooks read by top performers, audio-described films and TV series, documentaries and more. You can access live national and regional Rai Radio channels without registering; registering (free) unlocks full on-demand episodes, original podcasts, playlists, downloads for offline listening, bookmarks and personalized notifications.

The app includes features like car mode, sleep timer, Alarm Clock, program schedules and editorial contacts where available. The app is quite unstable, even with a good connection (apparently I am often in 5G areas) especially when trying to access non-live contents. But above all it would be nice to know what is the purpose of downloading when the downloaded contents stop while the connection drops: what would be the purpose of downloading contents if not when in absence of a connection?
