Move Active Games

Move Active Games is the app developed by MOVE, a spin-off of the University of Padova, created to transform the Olympic and Paralympics Games into an active, engaging, and accessible experience.

On the occasion of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympics Games, the app invites everyone to experience the Olympic spirit through movement, promoting physical activity as an integral part of everyday life.

Train inspired by Olympic sports
Move Active Games offers an overview of the Olympic disciplines, each paired with specific exercises inspired by the corresponding sport.
The workouts are designed to be performed at home, in small spaces, and without complex equipment.

Professionally guided content
All exercises are presented through guided videos, created and commented by kinesiologists from the Department of Medicine of the University of Padova.
This approach combines correct movement execution, safety, and scientific rigor, making physical activity simple and accessible to everyone.

Olympic events calendar
The app includes an events calendar that allows users to follow the main Olympic and Paralympics competitions and discover new daily ideas to stay active, inspired by the sports scheduled each day.
The calendar thus becomes a tool to connect sporting spectacle with daily physical activity.

Move Active Games integrates a gamification system that rewards daily commitment based on:

Alongside training, Move Active Games includes an in-depth section developed in collaboration with Exercise is Medicine Italy, the Italian Society of Mountain Medicine, and the “No T to lose” initiative.
