FlashCards ED

The FlashCardsED app contains summary cards on the clinic, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of the main emergencies of the gastro-intestinal tract of interest to the Emergency Doctor. The cards were, in a first phase, generated by a team of doctors and reviewed by experts in the field, making reference to the most recent national, European and global guidelines. Then in a second phase, the same contents were generated, through a Prompt Engineering process, using the OpenAI Assistants Playground platform, integrated with the GPT-4 API (GPT-4o); they were then reviewed by experts and evaluated from both a qualitative and quantitative point of view. While using the app, the contents will be randomly proposed and users will be able to consult and evaluate the cards generated by the team of doctors or by the AI.
