Via dei Vulcani di Fango

The hiking path Trail of mud volcanoes is unique both for tourism and scientific, geological, botanical and landscape. The six municipalities of Modena and Reggio Emilia Viano, Scandiano, Castellarano, Sassuolo, Fiorano and Maranello have in fact signed an agreement for the protection, promotion and enhancement of the area of ​​Emilia mud volcanoes system on their territory and whose trail of mud volcanoes is the element of direct hiking-territorial use.

The event is divided into three stages:
1. the "sauces" of Regnano Casola and the Valley of the Rio Rocca
2. from the Valley of the Rio Rocca in the natural reserve of Nirano
3. from Nirano to Maranello Salsa.
