Save every spot where you find mushrooms, with photo, type, quantity and notes. The locations are yours and yours alone: no other user can see them, not even your friends, not even in challenges. MushScout NEVER reveals the coordinates of your finds to anyone. The app alerts you when you pass near a place where you found mushrooms before — because mushrooms often come back to the same spots.

Check the local weather and the "mushroom conditions" score: temperature, humidity and recent rainfall tell you when it's worth heading out to search.

Download topographic maps of your favourite areas and use them with no connection. In the woods the signal often drops: with MushScout the map works anyway.

Photograph a mushroom and get a species suggestion powered by AI. A handy tool to learn and get curious. ⚠️ Always verify with an expert before eating.

Pick a past outing and the app retraces the same path, showing your old finds as reference points. Works offline too.

🚗 BACK TO CAR
Lost in the woods? The app saves your starting point and shows an arrow and distance to guide you back to the car — even with no signal.

🆘 EMERGENCY SOS
In trouble? The SOS button shows your exact GPS coordinates, sends an SMS to your emergency contact and triggers a sound alarm and flashing torch.

♻️ CLEAN THE FOREST
Photograph abandoned litter, classify it and log the cleanup. Every cleanup unlocks eco badges.

MushScout is a support tool and does NOT replace the opinion of an expert. AI identification can be wrong. Never eat a mushroom based on the app alone: before eating any mushroom you pick, always have it checked by a mycologist or the official mycological inspection service. Poisonous mushrooms can cause severe or fatal poisoning. Always follow your local foraging regulations (permits, quantity limits, allowed areas).

🔒 PRIVACY: your finding locations stay private and visible only to you. The SOS contact is saved only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
