FMG Care

FMG Care is the official app of the FMG Medical Group clinic (FMG SRL STP, Naples) dedicated to patients following a non-surgical wellness and weight loss program in collaboration with the FMG clinical team.

⚠️ FMG Care is NOT a medical device. It does not replace a doctor's diagnosis, opinion, or prescription. It is solely a monitoring and communication tool between patients and the clinical team.

WHO IS THE APP FOR?

The app is reserved for patients registered with the FMG clinic who have signed up for one of the following clinical programs:
• Gastric balloon (Allurion, Spatz3)
• GLP-1 drug therapy (Liraglutide, Semaglutide, Tirzepatide)
• Nutritional program
• Bariatric surgery (follow-up)
• Combined program

There is no self-registration: all accounts are created by the FMG clinical team when the patient registers. The app consists of two distinct areas: one for the patient and one for authorized clinical staff.

PATIENT AREA FUNCTIONS

📊 Weight Tracking
Record your daily weight directly from the app. View your progress over time with a clear graph showing your starting weight, current weight, and target weight. A complete history of your weigh-ins can be viewed by week, month, or entire program.

💬 Weekly Check-in for GLP-1 Programs
Specific for those undergoing therapy with GLP-1 agonist drugs. Each week, you record: dose adherence (yes/no), any symptoms (nausea, vomiting, reflux, constipation, fatigue on a scale of 0-10), and free notes for the clinical team. The data is sent in real time to the FMG physician who can intervene if problems are detected.

🎯 Personalized Goal
You always see your starting weight, current weight, target weight, and the percentage of Total Body Weight Loss (TBWL) achieved. Everything is entered by the clinical team during onboarding.

📝 Shared clinical history
Every change in treatment plan, every medication added or suspended, every clinical note from the team is recorded in a chronological timeline visible to the patient. You always know what happened and why.

👤 Personal profile
Personal details, contact information, active treatment plan, referring clinic. Privacy consent and health data can be modified at any time.

CLINICAL STAFF AREA FUNCTIONS

Dashboard with a list of all patients being followed, search by name or clinic, filter by clinic, alerts for patients who haven't weighed themselves in more than 7 days, patient record with complete clinical history, weight trend graph, consent management.

HOW TO ACCESS

The app is reserved for patients registered with the FMG clinic. Upon registration, the clinic's receptionist will provide the patient with:
1. The clinic's unique access code (6 digits)
2. The email address registered during registration

With these two details, the patient can access the app from the "I am a patient" tab without needing a password. Authorized clinical staff can access the app from the "I am FMG staff" tab using the email address and password provided by the administrator.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

Health data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Servers are located in the European Union (Supabase, GDPR compliant). Full user control: view, modify, and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). Clinical data is stored anonymously for 10 years, as required by Italian legislation on health records.
