ClantoDesk

ClantoDesk is the remote desktop and technical support application from Clanto Services, derived from the open-source RustDesk project.

You can use an Android smartphone or tablet to connect to authorized Windows, macOS, and Linux computers, view their screen, and control their mouse and keyboard. An Android device can also receive remote assistance when the user explicitly starts the service and grants the necessary permissions.

File transfer works in both directions. To send a file from Android, ClantoDesk opens the system file picker: choose exactly which files to share, including those available from cloud providers. Files received from a computer are published to the Downloads library. ClantoDesk does not request indiscriminate access to all files on the device.

When Android remote control is enabled, ClantoDesk uses AccessibilityService exclusively to reproduce taps, swipes, and keyboard inputs sent during an authorized session. Before opening Android's Accessibility settings, the app displays a dedicated notice and requires explicit consent. Accessibility is not used for autonomous actions, advertising, or data collection.

Connections use the Clanto rendezvous, relay, and API infrastructure configured in the official build. Features available during a session include remote control, file transfer, clipboard sync, audio, chat, terminal, and port forwarding, when supported by both devices and permitted by their administrators.

ClantoDesk should be used exclusively on your own devices or with the permission of the device owner.
