特定のアカウントをミュート設定していても、リポストや引用リポストされるとミュートしたアカウントのポストが普通に表示されてしまいますが、こちらで設定しておけばミュートしたアカウントのポストはリポストや引用リポストであっても表示されなくなります(リポストの場合、そのポスト自体が表示されなくなる。引用リポストの場合、引用の囲み枠内が空欄になり何も表示されなくなる)。大変便利です。→引用リポストについてはX公式で対応されたようです(「ミュートしているアカウントによるポストです。」と表示される)
