Background Podcast Playback
Podshot is a full podcast player. When you tap Play on an episode, audio continues playing in the background while you lock your screen, switch to other apps, or put your phone in your pocket. A persistent media notification with episode artwork, title, play/pause, skip-forward,
skip-back, and scrubbing controls lets you control playback from your lock screen, the notification shade, Bluetooth headsets, and wired headphone controls — without bringing the app back to the foreground. You can stop playback at any time from the notification or from inside the
app. Continuous background audio is the core listening experience of Podshot and is the reason the app uses the foreground service permission.
