The Vantiq Real Time Collaborator provides efficient mobile interactions between people and automation systems through the delivery of notifications to mobile devices. Each notification presents the mobile user with a situation that requires their input or, at least, awareness. No longer does the user have to actively monitor the automation system; critical notifications are delivered in real time as they are detected. Each notification presents a customized page that allows the user to quickly assess the current situation and respond with their decision. Once the response has been formed the app is dismissed and the user is free to return to other activities, allowing optimal utilization of their time. The mobile application can provide the automation system with access to various device resources such as the Camera, Audio and Location services. If requested the device location can be monitored even when the app is not in use.
