OutaStory — Read & Listen

OutaStory is a home for long-form fiction — fantasy, sci-fi, romance, mystery,
literary fiction, and everything in between — written by a growing community of
authors and read one chapter at a time.

The Android app is built for the way people actually read on phones: one-handed,
on the train, before bed, and sometimes offline. Chapters paginate automatically
to a clean, adjustable reader. Your place travels with you across devices, so
tonight's chapter on your phone picks up exactly where you stopped on another
screen this morning.

• Read from a catalogue of over 8,000 novels and serialised stories — chapter
by chapter, in English and German
• Listen to narrated chapters in the audio player (background playback, speed
control, resume where you paused)
• Take stories with you — download chapters over Wi-Fi and read offline on the
train or in the air
• Follow writers and get a nudge when they publish a new chapter
• Comment, rate, and discuss — right next to the chapter you just finished
• Make the reader yours — size, typeface (including a dyslexia-friendly font),
line height, reading themes from warm parchment to true dark
• A home feed that learns what you love to read — and a classic browse view
by category, language, and trending

OutaStory is built in Germany by a small team who believe serial fiction
deserves a better home than a scroll feed. Stories are owned by their authors;
our job is to give them a first-class place to publish and you a first-class
place to read.
