• All speech detection runs on the device. Audio is never uploaded — not for analytics, not for training, not ever.
• Recordings library: short clips from moments your baby vocalized, stored on your phone only — never synced to our servers.
• What the cloud sees: numerical features and counts you can inspect. You control whether even those sync.
• Per-purpose consent: Cloud Backup and the optional Help Improve Babble Diary program are granted separately.
• If you opt in to contribute anonymous learnings, we send only numerical class-probability scores and on-device acoustic features — never raw audio, never your voice — and we verify you're the parent through a Stripe card check ($0.50 charged then refunded), as required by COPPA's Verifiable Parental Consent rules.
• Export everything you've collected as JSON, any time.
• Delete your account and all baby data with one tap. We honor it server-side, not just locally.
