Features & Capabilities

777Xtreme

777Xtreme is a pocket physics lab for coupled oscillators. You build 🔨 a chain of point masses joined by springs, pluck one mass with your finger, and watch 👀 the energy slosh back and forth along the chain in real time ⏱️ while a live panel decomposes the motion into its normal modes. It is a genuine simulation tool 🛠️, not an animation: every frame is computed from the parameters you set.

Under the hood, 777Xtreme runs a real numerical engine entirely on your device 📱:
• A Velocity-Verlet integrator advances the system frame by frame using Hooke's law (F = -k·x), with optional viscous damping.
• The chain's stiffness matrix is diagonalised to expose its eigenfrequencies and mode shapes — a closed-form solution for uniform chains and a general Jacobi eigensolver for non-uniform ones.
• The instantaneous displacement is projected onto the mode basis to drive a live modal-energy readout, so you can literally see 👀 beating and energy transfer between modes.

What you can do:
• Build 🔨 & edit chains — choose the number 🔢 of masses (2–12), the spring stiffness, the mass, the damping, and the boundary condition (both ends fixed, one end free 🆓, or both free). A live preview updates as you change things.
• Pluck & watch 👀 — drag ✋ any mass on the Lab canvas to displace it, then release and watch the coupled system evolve. Switch between the physical field, the mode view, and the per-mode energy chart 📊. Adjust playback speed ⚡, toggle damping, pause or reset.
• Analyse the spectrum — open the analytical view for a mode-versus-time ⏱️ energy heatmap 🔥 and an eigenfrequency comb. Tap 👆 any mode to focus it and read its exact frequency and energy share 🤝.
• Explore presets — start 🚀 from built-in configurations (a uniform chain, a heavy-mass defect, alternating stiffness, a free 🆓-free chain, a two-mass beating pair) and branch off your own.
• Save 💾 your own experiments — keep a library 📚 of the chains you build 🔨, resume the last one you opened, and attach a reference photo 📸 (from your camera or gallery) of the real rig or a sketch to any saved experiment as a lab-journal note.

777Xtreme is fully offline 📴. There are no accounts, no logins, no ads, and no network features — all of the physics, the eigen-decomposition, the charts 📊 and your saved data live on your device 📱. It is a focused, self-contained instrument for anyone curious about how waves and energy move through a coupled system: students, tinkerers, and the physics-curious.
