By: smudge.io App
CNS Tap Test is used to measure the status of the central nervous system (CNS).

Overview

Features & Capabilities

"CNS Tap Test" is an Android app designed to measure the status of the central nervous system (CNS) through a simple finger tap test. It is based on the Finger Tap Test (FTT) or Finger Oscillation Test (FOT), widely recognized for gathering data on fine motor control. Regular testing helps determine an athlete's baseline and readiness for training, while results can indicate CNS fatigue or over-training. The app allows for data management through graphs and email sharing, optimizing athletes' performance insights.

User Reviews

Great app, easy to use, and it provides you with amazing metrics. A great tool to help you know the condition of your central nervous system.

The app itself works fine, but the graphing tools are not good. The x axis scaling is unadjustable and doesn't scale properly- for example, if i miss a test, the graph wont show it, it will just make that interval longer misleadingly. It also exports the data in a way that makes it really difficult to import into a spreadsheet program that can actually graph properly. Both of these fixes should be really easy, but neither should be necessary.
