Tafsir Al Shaarawy or Thoughts of Al Shaarawy is the interpretation of Sheikh Muhammad Metwally Al Shaarawy or his thoughts on the Holy Qur’an. It is the most famous book of modern interpretations, and some put it in the position of books that renew the matter of religion, about which the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said in the authentic hadith: “God sends at the head of every hundred years someone who renews for this nation the matter of its religion.”
