Apagón App allows you to report from your cell phone whether you currently have electric power from the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority or not.

It also allows you to view these reports, thus helping identify "pockets".

The app has notifications: if a blackout is detected, we can send notifications and quickly know who has electric power and who does not.

It can also send you notifications regarding planned outages.

Tiene potencial, pero no me queda claro cómo se obtiene la data para mostrar en el mapa las áreas sin servicio. Aparentemente, sólo se nutre de los reportes de los usuarios que usan la aplicación. El mapa en la aplicación de MiLuma muestra áreas sin servicio que no aparecen en la de Apagón. Entonces, no le veo la relevancia ya que si la finalidad es que se reporte a LUMA y se reparen las averías, la otra aplicación (MiLuma) tiene la información más completa y actualizada.
