PubQuiz.io

PubQuiz.io brings quiz night to your phone, with faces and voices instead of silent tapping. Everyone plays on their own device, in the pub, at the office or spread across several cities.

LIVE WITH VIDEO AND AUDIO
• See and hear each other in the lobby, during the questions and at the award ceremony, almost like sitting at one table
• Talk it through instead of typing: discuss the answer out loud with your team before you lock it in
• For everyone in the round or just for your team
• The host enables live video and audio for each round; it is part of the host's paid tier, and you can play along at no cost
• Camera and microphone only turn on after you agree and switch them on yourself, and you can turn them off at any time
• Nothing is recorded; if you report someone, you can attach a still image

PLAY
• Join with a code, a QR code or an invite link, even without an account, using a nickname you choose
• Five answer types: single choice, multiple choice, ordering, free text and numbers
• Play in teams or on your own, with standings and an award ceremony; during the game you see which question you are on, and at the end your own place
• React with fixed emojis and phrases instead of an open chat
• Get back into the round after a call or a restart
• A daily quiz with five questions every day, even without an account, with a result card to share

DISCOVER
• Public rounds and dates by category, length and time
• Sign up for a date, get a reminder by notification or email and add it to your calendar
• Every card shows your own registration and friends who share theirs
• Leaderboards for the month and for all time, also per category

WITH AN ACCOUNT
• Stats, achievements, a weekly goal, owls to collect and a public profile whose visibility you can turn off
• Friends, invitations to rounds and who is online right now, only if you allow it
• Build your own quizzes from the question pool or write questions of all five types yourself, then play along while the app hosts, or host the round yourself

FAIR AND SAFE
• Report directly in a round and on profiles, block on profiles
• No advertising ID and no tracking SDK
• Accounts from age 16
