User Reviews

Users like the app’s simplicity, tap-anywhere counting and strong customization (uploadable backgrounds). Common complaints repeated across reviews are missing/failed multiple-counter support after purchase, intermittent reliability problems (counts, mala mode, sound/vibration), and login/activation/premium issues. The app is praised for doing basic counting well and offering optional premium extras, but stability and account/purchase flows need improvement.

Pros

Customizable appearance — users can upload/set a background image and change visuals.
Simple, focused and easy-to-use interface — many call it a one-thing-done-well app.
Tap-anywhere counting makes tracking mantras quick and intuitive.
Optional in-app purchase/premium unlocks extra features (extras are available but not required).

Cons

Multiple-counter functionality missing or not enabled after purchase — several users wanted/create multiple malas.
Reliability issues: occasional failures to register counts, mala mode not working consistently, and sound/vibration problems.
Login/registration or premium activation problems — users reported credential/help requests and purchase-related issues.

Recent reviews

I have been using it since 5 years. Best japa mala app as I compared to other apps.

I have been using the app for keeping track of accumulations for a year. there are many ways to count in the app (one tap can be set to any number, you can count down or up, have a timer, use it as a mala by just tapping a lot). I use a mala and go up by 100. I really like the ability to put a custom image on the background. it is easy to cycle through different mantras. I paid the small fee to keep my data stored in the cloud and to have few more customizations.
