Photone turns your phone or tablet into an accurate plant light meter, delivering lab-grade measurements for indoor growers. It measures PAR/PPFD, DLI, lux, and color temperature (Kelvin) using your device’s camera, with in-app guides to help interpret results.

To ensure accuracy, diffuser guidance is provided and a diffuser accessory is available; Photone supports LED, HPS, CMH, and other grow lights while remaining ad-free. Photone went from a fantastic, free to use app, to now some fukl-fledged paywall app... Just like the rest of them. This is extremely frustrating, given the lifetime subscription costs over $130 Australian dollars. Why... This is just out of reach for people like myself. I only need to use the app a few times a year, but here we are - pillaged once again by another app developer.
