ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

Promises uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to support optional app-locking and distraction management features designed to encourage healthier spiritual habits.

When enabled by the user, Promises can detect selected apps chosen by the user for restriction. Before opening a locked app, Promises displays a Bible verse and guided prayer experience to encourage reflection, prayer, and mindful phone usage.

Promises does NOT use the AccessibilityService API to collect personal information, read messages, capture keystrokes, monitor sensitive activity, or track activity outside of the user-selected app-locking functionality.

The Accessibility feature is completely optional and can be enabled or disabled by the user at any time through Android device settings.
