SkyPocket turns your phone into a pocket cockpit: live ground speed, altitude, track and an offline world atlas - all while your phone is in flight mode. Record the whole flight with the screen locked, film the view with your stats burned in, then replay it and share it.

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
GPS only receives, like a radio. Your phone listens to satellites and never transmits, so flight mode doesn't switch it off. SkyPocket pairs that signal with the barometer and motion sensors, and packs the whole world map, a full country factbook and every World Heritage Site inside the app. Nothing is sent, fetched or tracked.

A GLASS COCKPIT FOR SEAT 23A
Ground speed, altitude, vertical speed and track on proper instrument tapes, with estimated Mach at cruise. The barometer reads cabin pressure altitude; the motion sensors read g-force, turbulence and bank angle. Knots or km/h, feet or metres - your call.

AN OFFLINE WORLD ATLAS
Coastlines, seas, mountain ranges, rivers, thousands of towns, 41,000 named peaks, 3,000 lakes and 1,245 World Heritage Sites, packed inside the app. A layer panel tunes what you see. Pan the planet from mid-ocean; tap a pin to read about what's passing below.

A WHOLE-FLIGHT RECORDER
Tap once, or let takeoff detection offer for you. It records with the screen locked and lands in your logbook automatically. Speed, altitude and the country below stay live in a notification while you doze, and a home-screen widget keeps your running total.

EVERY FLIGHT, A STORY
Wheels up, top of climb, fastest moment, wheels down - derived from the data alone and told as a timeline. Replay any flight on the map, scrub through it second by second, share it as a card, or export GPX and CSV. Tracks from other flight loggers import too.

A CAMERA WITH A MEMORY
Photos stamped with your speed, altitude and position. Clips with a live stats marquee burned in at export. A timelapse turns two hours of cruising into minutes. And flight notes: a thought at 11,000 metres, saved with the moment it happened. In flight, the tab bar becomes a flight deck - photo, clip, note, one thumb.

THE FLIGHT BECOMES A REEL
When you land, turn the flight into a 9:16 reel: your route drawing itself over the chart, your records, your photos, clips and notes, in the order they happened. You pick every ingredient, every clip's eight seconds, every scene's pace. Ready to post anywhere.

PRACTICE YOUR LINGO
A ten-language phrasebook, bundled whole and spoken aloud: the essentials, a sentence builder that only offers sentences that exist, and the answers to listen for. Works in flight mode, like everything else.

THE WORLD, READABLE
A full country factbook, bundled whole, split into countries you have overflown (it counts) and countries you have not. Yet.

No account, no ads, no analytics, no subscriptions. SkyPocket doesn't even request internet access - it couldn't phone home if it wanted to. Your flights live on your phone, and you can export the lot as a zip any time.

BEFORE YOU BOARD
Does it need Wi-Fi? No. Everything works offline, mid-ocean included.
What about battery? It uses GPS the way a run tracker does - a long-haul flight costs a modest slice, screen locked the whole way.
Any tips? GPS struggles through a metal fuselage, so sit near the window. If the signal drops, SkyPocket estimates your position honestly, marked in amber, until the fix returns.
