WHERE TANA CAME FROM

Tana was born in a university chemistry lab: one team of fifty students spread across three rooms, burning through thousands of chemicals and racks of equipment day and night. Some reagents took a week to arrive. A spreadsheet was never going to hold that together, so we built something that could.

That is still the test we hold every feature to. If it would not survive a busy lab at 2am, it does not ship.

WHAT YOU GET

Know who used what. Every adjustment is logged with a name and a time, so "who took the last one?" stops being a mystery and starts being a fact.

Scan anything. Point your camera at the barcode already printed on the box and it is tracked. No barcode? Print a sheet of Tana QR labels from your dashboard, stick one on the shelf, and a scan takes you straight to it.

Get warned early. Set a threshold once and Tana tells you before you run out, not after. Push notification, email, or both.

Your whole team, in sync. Everyone sees the same shelves, updated the moment someone touches them. No merge conflicts, no "which version is current?"

Built for phones first. Counting stock means standing in front of a shelf, not sitting at a desk. Tana works one-handed while you do it.
