Ritmia Android

Ritmia

Ritmia is a patented, non-medical heart rhythm monitoring system

Features & Capabilities

Ritmia is a non-medical heart rhythm monitoring system (made up of a sensor equipped with patented proprietary software and a dedicated app to query the sensor) capable of automatically recording any episodes of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation which, often not warned, it can quintuple the risk of stroke even in healthy people or who think they are healthy.
A preventive diagnosis is the necessary condition for timely access to modern therapies and can reduce the risk of stroke by 70%.

To diagnose atrial fibrillation, continuous monitoring is needed and can be practiced:

- through subcutaneously implantable medical devices that are invasive, expensive and not usable on a large scale;
- using traditional instruments - such as Holter ECG - which are, however, not very suitable for medium-term monitoring and are particularly cumbersome for the user
- with the use of Ritmia which, due to its very small size and practicality of use, allows monitoring over time (up to 2 weeks).
The Rhythmia sensor can be positioned on the chest using the special patches which maintain adherence for 5 days (which can then be replaced), or by using a normal sports-type heart rate monitor band.

The special Rhythmia algorithm analyzes the heart rate, automatically recognizes arrhythmias and independently records the ECG tracing and duration.

To access the data history and processed recordings, simply bring the Rhythm sensor close to the phone after launching the dedicated app (available for Android and iOS smartphones).

The data and tracings are of high quality, corresponding to that required by cardiologists for a correct preliminary evaluation. Through the app, the documentation can be easily shared between doctor and patient.

The winning features of Ritmia are:

- the small size (of a coin) and negligible weight (9 grams) and absence of cables
- ease of use
- the precision and reliability of a special algorithm, developed by cardiologists, which analyzes the data and returns them according to extremely high standards
