Nice idea, but it’s almost impossible to upload an image into the application. I managed to do it only twice after about 30 attempts. This app is not well made. I finally uninstalled it. There’s no way to use it like that.

User Reviews
Film Simulator is praised for its accurate Fuji film simulation filters, simple yet effective presets, and a clean user interface. Users appreciate the responsive developer and find the app a great cost-saving alternative to certain Fuji cameras. However, common issues include lack of .heic file support, missing embedding of filter information, absence of crop functionality, inability to use the camera directly, and no batch import feature, which users hope will be addressed in future updates.

- Accurate film simulation filters that mimic Fujifilm film recipes well
- Simple and ready-to-use filters that enhance photos effectively
- Clean and user-friendly interface

- Provides a cost-effective alternative to expensive Fujifilm cameras
Cons
- Lacks support for .heic image file type
- Missing features like embedding simulation metadata within images
- No crop feature before exporting images
- Cannot access the camera directly within the app
- Lacks batch import functionality for processing multiple photos

This is hands down the BEST film emulator I've ever used. There are hundreds of emulsions to choose from and each one is spot on.
