Features & Capabilities

The Videocon TV Remote Chrome extension transforms your mobile device into a fully functional remote control for Videocon DTH set-top boxes. Designed to replicate the original remote's layout, it offers all button functionalities including volume controls, along with an intuitive interface and vibration feedback for enhanced user experience.

This app requires an IR blaster on your device to work and operates without an internet connection for remote functionality, only needing it for ads. Ideal for users who have lost or damaged their physical remote, it supports Videocon DTH SD and HD boxes. The small app size, easy usability, and broad compatibility with devices like Redmi/Mi smartphones make it a handy tool for anyone looking to control their TV setup conveniently and efficiently.

User Reviews

The Videocon TV Remote app is effective and highly useful on phones equipped with an IR blaster, particularly Xiaomi/Redmi models, allowing users to replace physical remotes. However, the app requires an IR blaster to function, which many modern smartphones lack, leading to numerous complaints about it not working or being just a photo. Device incompatibility frustrates many users who experience no functionality, contributing to a generally negative perception among those without suitable hardware.
