It makes reading about and finding the latest articles in your field easy. It's a good alternative to entertainment on social media if you find yourself addicted. The only 'flaw' about this app is that the algorithm doesn't update my preference--when I started using this app, I checked out a few medical journals, and now it keeps sending me recommendations and news about live events on biochemistry and medicine, even though the majority of the articles have nothing to do with them.

This is an amazing app for staying up to date on research. It's convenient how it can natively link with my university to provide access to different journals. My largest complaint is that this app doesn't offer a widget on Android. It would be a lot more convenient to have a constant feed of papers on my home screen, where I can causally see papers I'd enjoy without needing to open the app.
