Crossed

Crossed is a social memory map. Two people pair by QR code or a short code, and only after BOTH agree, the app reveals where their PAST paths may have approximately crossed — the cities you both passed through, the places you may have shared, and the Closest Moment your lives came near, all before you ever met.

Crossed is built on one idea: you may have crossed paths before you ever met. It is private by default, powered by mutual consent, and it never reveals anything one-sided.

Crossed is NOT a dating app, NOT a people-finder, and NOT a location tool. There is no "people near you," no live location, and no following anyone. Nothing is ever revealed unless both people opt in.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pair — Connect with someone you already know by scanning a QR code, opening an invite link, or typing a short code.
2. Consent — Both people agree to compare. No one-sided Reveal: if either person declines, nothing is shown.
3. Reveal — Crossed builds your shared Cross Map: how many times your Life Paths overlapped, your Past Overlap score, and the story of where your histories came closest.

WHAT YOU DISCOVER
- Cross Map — an approximate map of where your Life Paths overlapped in the past.
- Closest Moment — the point in time your two paths likely came nearest.
- Shared Places — cities and areas you both probably passed through, ranked by confidence.
- Past Overlap — a simple score and summary of how much your histories intersect.
- Reports & Life Map — a Monthly and Yearly Life Map that turns your Crosses into a personal recap.
- Deep Cross Report — an optional in-depth read of a single Cross.
- Saved — keep the Crosses that matter and build your own social memory archive over time.
- Crossed Circle — a closed, invite-only group Cross for three or more friends, with the same consent-first rules.

YOUR DATA, YOUR CHOICE
- Mutual consent always. No Cross is ever revealed one-sided.
- Approximate-first. Crossed works with rough areas and time ranges — never precise tracking, and never a claim that you were "exactly" in one place.
- Foreground location only. When-in-use location and on-device photo date and place metadata help build your memory map, only with your permission. Background location is not required and is not used.
- Private by default. You choose what to share, and you can delete your data or your whole account from Settings at any time.

Every new person you meet is a quiet question: did our paths ever cross before today? Crossed turns that curiosity into a shared, consent-based discovery — and, over time, a growing map of the coincidences behind the people in your life.

Crossed is free to use. Deeper features like the Deep Cross Report and the Yearly Life Map may be offered as optional upgrades.
